Your Guide to Spring Shows at the Walmart AMP

This spring, the Walmart AMP boasts an exciting lineup of live entertainment, bringing legendary musicians, dynamic collaborations and top-tier comedy to the stage. Whether you’re craving an electrifying concert experience or an evening of laughter, this season’s performances are set to deliver unforgettable moments.

My Morning Jacket is marking the arrival of its eagerly awaited new album, is, with a wide-ranging headline tour including a stop in Northwest Arkansas on April 15. For more than 25 years, My Morning Jacket has achieved an incredibly rare feat in the world of rock ‘n’ roll, upholding a long-established cultural legacy while sustaining all the curiosity and creative hunger of its very earliest days.

In a monumental step for the Louisville, Kentucky-bred five-piece band — vocalist/guitarist Jim James, bassist Tom Blankenship, guitarist Carl Broemel, drummer Patrick Hallahan, keyboardist Bo Koster — is expands the limits of its sound and elevates its artistry to unprecedented heights. The result is perhaps the most masterfully realized work yet from a band fully committed to its belief in music as a conduit for revelation of all kinds.

is finds My Morning Jacket deviating from its typically self-produced approach by teaming up with multiple-Grammy winner Brendan O’Brien, one of the most esteemed producers in rock music, known for his extensive work with Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam. Standard ticket prices range from $29.50 to $99.50 plus applicable fees.

Kick off the month of May with Sessanta, the tour that brought Puscifer, Primus and A Perfect Circle together. These iconic bands are not only sharing the stage but also swapping musicians throughout an unforgettable evening celebrating Maynard James Keenan’s 60th birthday May 2. Keenan is the singer, songwriter and producer who provides lead vocals for Puscifer, A Perfect Circle and Tool.

“The Sessanta run was by far the most fun and delicious extended birthday party I’ve ever had, thanks to all of the attendees and the master musicianship of Primus, Puscifer and A Perfect Circle,” Keenan shared. “No comparison.”

Reviews from the first round of tour dates noted just how inspiring and atypical the evening was. SPIN highlighted Sessanta’s “eclectic” nature, noting the tour’s double-decker stage design, dynamic light show and the bands’ non-musical on-stage antics.

While each group performs its distinctive sets, the musicians continually rotate throughout the night. Primus members join Puscifer’s performance, A Perfect Circle’s bandmates pop up during Primus’ set and so on. Special guests on the previous performances included Troy Van Leeuwen, James Iha, Sean Lennon, Paz Lenchantin, and Keenan’s Tool bandmates: Danny Carey, Justin Chancellor and Adam Jones. Standard ticket prices range from $49.95 to $149.95 plus applicable fees.

If you are looking for great laughs, grab tickets now for comedian Nate Bargatze’s 2025 Big Dumb Eyes World Tour on May 17. Hailed as “the nicest man in stand-up” by The Atlantic magazine and “one of the funniest people” by CBS Mornings, Grammy-nominated comedian, podcaster, director and producer Nate Bargatze is selling out shows and breaking venue attendance records with more than 1.2 million tickets sold on his 2024 The Be Funny Tour.

Bargatze’s comedy is both clean and relatable, evident in his 13 appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the most appearances by any comedian. He also appeared on “Conan” four times and has appeared on Seth Meyers’ and James Corden’s respective late-night shows. Initially announced as only an evening show, a matinee performance was added due to the high demand. Very limited tickets remain for the 7:30 p.m. performance. Tickets are still available for the 2 p.m. matinee. Standard ticket prices range from $49.50 to $149.50 plus applicable fees.
